Abstract
A beam energy measurement based on p(e,e’p) elastic scattering kinematics is presented. It uses two determinations in coincidences, symmetrically about the beam of the (e,e’p) kinematics. The scattered electron angles and the recoil proton angles are measured in silicon strip detectors. The goal is to determine the beam energy between 0.5 and 6GeV with an accuracy of ΔE/E=10−4.
