Abstract
The article presents the study on Hipposideridae in the massif of Mount Nimba as well as the taxonomic status of Hipposideros lamottei as of December 2013. It discusses evidences that there are at least seven species of Hipposideros at the mountain. Information about H. lamottei is provided which has been misdiagnosed due to mistakes in published measurements. It concludes that Mount Nimba is a hotspot for Hipposideros in West Africa.
