Abstract
The article informs about the importance of bioengineering to help the environment and the U.S. Department of Energy, developing a plant bio manufacturing platform that was used to synthesize a new-to-nature bio pesticide with novel antifungal properties. It also mentions how sustainable building materials startup bio MASON injects microorganisms with sand in an aqueous solution to create bricks and other construction materials.
