Abstract
This paper addresses the role of the Alloys Databank in the SOTA project. In the testing part of the project much CCG data will be generated and stored into the Databank. Within the project the analysis routines of the Databank have been expanded to include the CCG data analysis according to the ASTM E1457. Also a detailed description of welded joints have been created in order to address the special extraction of the CT specimens from the fusion line/HAZ. The calculation of displacement rate and crack growth rate and the C* analysis itself has been made fully automatic. Storing data in a common format will help project partners in exchanging, analysing and comparing data and will facilitate harmonisation of data analysis procedures by offering a common reference method. The databank itself is a convenient way to store and later to retrieve relevant data which has been classified according to the type of data and specimen, material and temperature.
