Abstract
The article focuses on addressing the challenges posed by global warming in semi-arid vineyards, particularly exploring the effectiveness of 'crop-forcing' in modifying the phenology of grapevines to shift berry ripening to a period of moderate temperatures. Topics include the impact of climate change on grape composition, the role of temperature in altering metabolite ratios, and the evaluation of 'crop-forcing' combined with deficit irrigation as a solution for obtaining premium wines.
