Abstract
The synthesis and activity as precatalysts for stereoregular α-olefin polymerization of the chiral C1 -symmetric zirconocene complexes (R)- and (S)-Me2 Si(η5-C13 H16 )(η5-C5 H3 R*)ZrR2 , where C13 H16 = octahydrofluorenyl, R = NMe2 , Cl, or Me, and R* = (1R,2S,5R)-trans-5-methyl-cis-2-(2-propyl)cyclohexyl ((−)-menthyl), are described.
