Abstract
The article presents the case of a 53-year-old perimenopausal woman diagnosed with benign mucinous cystadenoma. She noticed an increased abdominal girth, gained five to ten pounds despite dieting and experience increasing dyspnea. Based on pathological examination, a cystic mass arising from the right ovary was observed. A total abdominal hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy were performed on the patient.
