Abstract
The article examines the maturity of Verification and Validation (V&V) activities in the different phases of a New Product Development (NPD) chain. The authors utilize the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)-based Verification-Validation Maturity Model (V2M2) for the analysis. In addition, it highlights the degree of maturity of V&V in production compares to earlier NPD phases.
