Abstract
In this study, Singh et al. sought to understand the cell sources, transitional states, and chromatin remodeling involved in intestinal stem cell (ISC) regeneration. Their findings identify strikingly plastic molecular frameworks in assembly and regeneration of a self-renewing tissue.
