Abstract
Corn yields on a Lintonia soil receiving several rates of nitrogen ranged from 17 to 138 bushels per acre over a 3‐year period. The drouth conditions for each growing season were indexed and the corn yields related to the nitrogen level and drouth index by regression analyses. Such a relationship accounted for 97% of the variability between treatment means.
