Abstract
In the article, the author discusses the various tuning techniques that could be employed to the mountain dulcimer. She cites her experiences while studying how to play the dulcimer. She presents her dulcimer teaching techniques as contained in her book "Dulcimer a la Mode." The DAA and DAD dulcimer tuning techniques are also discussed.
