Abstract
Ambipolar transistor properties are observed in Schiff-base complexes derived from 2-aminobenzenethiol and 2-mercapto benzaldehyde, where a nickel atom is coordinated by two sulfur and two nitrogen atoms. The former complexes have extremely small energy gaps of 0.5~0.6 eV, where air-stable ambipolar characteristics with small off region are observed.Air-stable ambipolar transistor properties are observed in Schiff-base complexes derived from 2-aminobenzenethiol and 2-mercapto benzaldehyde, where a nickel atom is coordinated by two sulfur and two nitrogen atoms.
