Abstract
Interviews with three former Canadian ambassadors including Louis Guay, John W. Graham and Paul D. Durand are presented. When asked about Guay's initiative, he reveals end of political cycle in Niger and high tensions between the government and Tuareg, Niger. Graham informs that he was Ambassador to Venezuela from 1988 to 1992. Durand says that his initial role was to participate in chair the Pais Consultative Group's meeting that initially involved extensive civil society consultations.
