Abstract
The article presents a study that evaluates the awareness of cat owners on the toxicity of lily species. It aims to gain information on the sources of the flowers, the circumstances surrounding the exposure, and the clinical conditions of exposed cats at the time of the follow-up interview. Focal to the study is a survey of cat owners reporting indoor exposures to lilies to the Animal Poison Control Center during April 2009.
