Abstract
The article discusses a study that examined the motor nucleus of trochlear in buffaloes (Bubalus bubalis). It shows that the buffalo's trochlear nucleus is extended from the anterior part of the pons to the beginning of the caudal colliculus, and that the motor nucleus of the trochlear nerve is located ventrolateral to the medial longitudinal fasciculus (MLF). It compares the location, extent and shape of the buffalo's trochlear nucleus with other animals.
