Chapter 4 of the book "Brush Management: Past, Present, Future," edited by Wayne T. Hamilton, Allan Mcginty, Darrel N. Ueckert, C. Wayne Hanselka and Michelle R. Lee is presented. Mechanical brush control methods will continue to prosper in the future because of the value of the recreational use of rangelands. Some reasons include the change in the trend of ownership and enhanced information and technology. These mechanical treatments can still be applied in the future with proper modifications.
