Abstract
The article discusses the Renaissance masterpieces of stained glass, the collection of panels in the Galerie de Psyché, featured at Musée Condé at Chantilly, France. They had been executed upon commission of its owner, Anne de Montmorency. The four stained glass have two religious subjects, the Nativity and the Circumcision and two secular subjects, the Sons of the Constable Anne de Montmorency. The Ecouen windows make Chantilly a mecca for all those interested in stained glass, which played an important role in noble and bourgeois houses. The panels exactly fitted the gallery's ten casements and two half casements.
