Mass spectra of negative ions of some hydroperoxides

Abstract
Conclusions Fragmentary negative (M-OH)- ions are formed in the excited state during dissociative electron capture. Subsequent decomposition of these ions was detected, with the ejection of CH4 and RH molecules for RC(CH3 )2 OOH (R=CH3 , C2 H5 , C6 H5 , C10 H7 ), and CO2 for C6 H5 CO2 OH.
