Abstract
Dyslipidemia is recognized as a prominent risk factor for cardiovascular disease. The recent cholesterol guidelines recommend aggressive statin therapy in patients with high cardiovascular risk. The aim of the study was to investigate the efficacy and safety of short-term high-intensity statin therapy in patients with high cardiovascular risk.
