Abstract
The article focuses on the Overdose Detection and Mapping Application Program (ODMAP) tool, launched by the Washington/Baltimore High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (W/B HIDTA) in the year 2017 to share information on overdoses of drugs across jurisdictional boundaries. It reports on the engagement of the HIDTA program in the law enforcement community to reduce domestic drug trafficking and production. It presents views of Sheriff David Hutchinson on the ODMAP tool, as of January 2021.
