Abstract
The author focuses on training of artistic directors of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and mentions launch of the Association of Teachers of Operatic Dancing of Great Britain. Topics disucssed include important ballet teachers and dancers from schools who ended up agreeing on standards to teaching dance, children's examinations introduced by RAD in 1924 and achievements of RAD.
