Abstract
The article discusses how mobile technology is helping utility companies collaborate when they share utility poles in the U.S. It focuses on the management of joint use in the poles of utility industries in the country. Joint use is where multiple utilities attach wires and equipment to a shared pole. It is emphasized that the Poletrack pole management software system is being used by a growing number of companies in the country.
