Abstract
The article focuses on a study related to the identification of the sites on the highway MS-080 in Southwestern Brazil which is known for highest incidence of wildlife accidents. Topics discussed under study include comparison of the amount of roadkill, moon phases and the flow of vehicles on the highway and collection of samples belonging to 32 families and 52 species. The outcome of the study revealed birds, Cariama cristata and Cerdocyon thous as the most affected species.
