Abstract
The article argues that the works of Charles Rennie Mackintosh of Glasgow, Scotland, were not plagiarized from the works during the art revival in Vienna, Austria. It is pointed out that despite the similarity of detail, Mackintosh's Derngate work is unlike anything made during the same date in Vienna, and it could be demonstrated that Mackintosh's work is a logical development of his work in Glasgow.
