Abstract
•PGD2dilates the middle meningeal artery (MMA) in rats.•MK-0524 inhibits (∼62%, p<0.05) the PGD2-induced dilation of the MMA.•Mainly, DP1receptor is responsible for vasodilation.•mRNA for DP1, DP2receptors and L-PGDS is present in pain processing structures.
