Abstract
The article relates the authors' experience as husband and wife in creating a play which helped them renew their love for each other. Three years of trying, of infertility treatments, each month a rise in expectation only to be followed by a plummet into despair, had left them emotionally and spiritually spent. They came up with the idea of working together on two projects, one from each of their areas of expertise. They decided to create a play concerning Alcoholics Anonymous.
