Abstract
The article discusses a research study on the anti-inflammatory effects of Drymaria cordata methanolic extract (DCME). The leaves of Drymaria cordata L. were processed and methanolic extract was prepared per standard procedure while adult male Wistar rates and male albino mice were randomly divided into five groups made up of six animals each. The phytochemical screening of DCME indicated a presence of flavanoids, alkaloid and steroids that are known to be responsible for anti-inflammatory activity in other plants.
