The author argues that a team approach to preparing for clinical governance and practice inspection visits to dental practices in Great Britain is more beneficial. She cites that dental practices are expected to deliver new policies and procedures, expected by the primary care trusts (PCT) without having real knowledge of their importance to the dental profession. She asserts that there is really no one person that can be nominated to take care of practice inspection and clinical governance compliance and policies.
