Abstract
•Fungal DNA was detected more frequently in baseline samples from patients with steroid-refractory graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) than in patients with steroid-dependent GVHD.•There was no evidence of transmission of y pathogenic fungi from fecal microbiota transplantation donors to recipients.
