Abstract
The article presents several case studies of patients with peripheral nerve disease. Topics discussed include causes of peripheral neuropathy such as metabolism disorder, medications and hereditary disorders; treatment of immune-mediated neuropathies with monoclonal antibodies, corticosteroids and immunoglobulin; and the use of lidocaine patch and capsaicin medications for focal pain.
