Abstract
The article presents an overview of and discusses the social impact of an airborne outreach program which was established to provide HIV services to high-HIV burden health facilities in rural Botswana. A discussion of the role that the program played in helping patients have enhanced access to essential specialty services in rural health facilities across Botswana is presented.
