Abstract
The article focuses on the evaluation of the effectiveness of surveillance and containment measures for the first 100 patients with COVID-19 in Singapore. It mentions that effectiveness of these measures was assessed by calculating the 7-day moving average of the interval from symptom onset to isolation in hospital or quarantine; and also mentions the surveillance methods in Singapore complemented one another to identify infected persons, with the overlapping components constituting safety.
