Abstract
The article uncovers the works of artist Antek Walczak since departing the collective Bernadette Corp., which is almost exclusively committed to painting. Topics covered include his turn to painting after a sustained period of abstention, his 2010 solo exhibition "Empire State of Machine Mind" wherein he showed how painting acts as a vessel for the social and intellectual networks that undergird its production, and his use of montage in the context of painting.
