Abstract
The article focuses on the effect of sailhandling systems, such as mainsails, headsails and general deck layout on the sailing, Topics discussed include ensuring clean deck policy through covered composite channels to avoid hazards, significance of the mainsail's shape for movement of the boat, and definite space for the cockpit and the social gathering on the boat.
