Abstract
The article discusses the inhibition of glycolysis in salivary sediment by halogenated compounds. Data shows the effect of monochloro derivatives and parent structures on several biologically active chemicals such as thionyl aniline and succinimide. Inhibitory action was observed in iodoacetate and the halogen derivatives of nitropropane, phenol, salicylic acid, benzyl alcohol, and saligenin.
