Abstract
The article presents the discussion on emergency department (ED) visits and admissions for reasons unrelated to COVID-19 during the first months of the pandemic. Topics include impact of COVID-19 on sexual assault survivors' access to and presentation for emergency care; and RI stay-at-home order vulnerable to sexual assault by an intimate partner being now isolated with the perpetrator.
