Abstract
The article focuses on the survey which evaluates the effectiveness of implementing Assessment is for Learning (AifL) initiative designed to improve initial teacher education (ITE) programs in Scotland. According to the survey, universities and colleges have practiced the strategic approach of King's Oxfordshire Medway Formative Assessment Project (KMOFAP) in developing the capabilities of the students in peer assessment and learning performance. It found that students with the degree of Professional Graduate Diploma in Education in primary schools (PGDE P) have practiced strictly to it. A chart is presented which depicts the percentage ratings of KMOFAP strategies, along with different education courses.
