Abstract
The article offers information on the Melanoma is the most aggressive of all skin cancers and carries a very high mortality rate. It mentions a potential association between cancer and obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) has been advanced and has gained substantial interest in the sleep community; and also mentions that sleep fragmentation and intermittent hypoxia (IH) are the two main consequences of OSA that activate intermediate mechanisms which promote oncogenic processes.
