Abstract
The article focuses on the advantages of using the 4 x 8 layout in the modeling of a facility and railroads in the U.S. The 4 x 8 layout is used in the modeling of the Ashland & Southern RR due to the convenience of building the styrene sheets and strips in the layout. Moreover, the 4 x 8 scheme has been viewed convenient and provides a close-up view of the image.
