Abstract
The article presents information about the ethnographic research in reading. The research involves multiple data collection strategies, relying substantially on participant observation. Ethnographic paradigm demands the large quantities of evidence without necessarily testing preconceived hypothesis. It also facilitates the uncovering of relevant frame of reference for other research strategies and provides the framework for examining how teachers process information concerning learners attributes, cognitive behaviors and emotional signals.
