The article discusses prosthetic care for children, in different kinds of diseases and injuries. In spite of the attention paid to dental care in schools, prosthodontic care in children is said to be area to focus in, in contemporary times. The two type of prosthetic requirements attended to by school dentists are accidental victims with dental damage and congenital disease victims with problems in the orofacial region. The article goes on to present several individual cases of dental treatment met out to children, including one involving the care of cleft lip/palate patients after surgery and one involving anodontia treated with partial dentures.
