Abstract
The article offers information about the clinical conclusions of studies related to orthodontically induced inflammatory root resorption. It discusses about the different processes in root resorption which includes one originates in the periodontal ligament (PDL), and the other originates in the pulp. It explores the understanding the orthodontic apical root shortening (ARS) process.
