Abstract
The article overviews a critical research review led by pathologist and clinician Basil Morson and colleagues on evaluation of preneoplastic conditions of gastric precancerous conditions among patients. The research review outlines the factors contributing to multifactorial aetiology of sporadic gastric cancer and its disease progression. The research also highlights the process of mucosal-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT).
