Abstract
The article discusses a study on the effects of advanced selection methods on sperm quality and assisted reproductive technology (ART) outcome. Topics discussed include the evolution of the role of spermatozoa in ART, the potential of advanced methods of selection in improving ART outcomes, and possible future developments. Also mentioned are the cost burden of the novel techniques and the need to determine the most physiological methods of sperm selection.
