Abstract
The article discusses the safety issues of safety of traditional sunscreens and solar protection. Topics discussed include a research on the ways of nature to protect living organisms against cyanobacteria and miniscule plankton, the photoprotective benefits of sinapic acid, mosporines, and sytonemins, and the use of antioxidants and vegetable and fruit extracts and natural oils in sunscreen.
