Abstract
The article presents information on an infant born with a protrusive and laterally displaced premaxilla. Treatment of this defect is done by a two-stage premaxillary orthopedic technique which enables repositioning of the premaxilla in three planes. In the technique, an impression was made of the infant's maxillary arch for constructing an intraoral obturator. An impression of the infant's premaxilla was taken for construction of an acrylic "bulb" prosthesis. The bulb was fitted over the protruding and laterally displaced premaxilla of the infant.
