Abstract
The article reports on the announcement of U.S. President Barack Obama that a Review Group on Intelligence and Communications Technologies will review how federal intelligence agencies monitor people's voice and electronic communications. Obama notes that the Review Group will assess how the country employs its technical collection capabilities in a way that it protects its security. It notes that the Review Group was established in the wake of the U.S. National Security Agency's scandal.
