Abstract
The article presents a research focused on analyzing the levels of pollution in aquatic systems and impact of human beings on aquatic environments. The research was conducted in Brazil by examining concentration of various metals including nickel, copper and lead. Other topics discussed in the research includes urban growth in Brazil, improper basic sanitation and pollution of aquatic ecosystems.
