Abstract
The article offers information on the Ground-mounted HF vertical antennas. It mentions that all the parts of the antennas do not radiate equally; and human-made noise [QRM] is vertically polarized and of ground wave propagation. It also mentions that Metal guys with egg insulators are considered as best for a permanent installation, whereas nonmetallic guys are considered as best for portable operation.
