Abstract
The article discusses the issues concerning the international legality of amnesties during the 21st century. Topcis covered include the efforts of the International Criminal Court (ICC) to address the civil wars in different countries. Also mentioned is the impact of the amnesties on peace negotiation efforts in the century.
